Olympus have issued a service advisory on their japanese web site Olympus Japan, about CDD issues.
The advisory has not yet been translated into English but a Google translated page can be found here.
It seems both the Olympus Camedia C-5050 Zoom and the C750 Ultra Zoom models are affected. Repair dates have already been announced for Japan. For the rest of the world the dates will be announced very soon.
