Jan. 24, 2005 Adesso Inc., today introduced it will distribute new digital video and still cameras from UMAX including the  'AstraPix 680'.
The ultra-compact and thin size of the new AstraPix 680 makes it the perfect camera to tuck in a pocket or purse for high-quality, high resolution photos almost anywhere.
The UMAX AstraPix 680 is designed For the serious photographer looking to go all-out digital, there's the AstraPix 680. Boasting 8.0 MegaPixels of resolution, the AstraPix 680 offers a 4x total zoom power and a huge 2.0" LTPS (Low Temperature Poly Silicon) LCD screen. The digital camera also records digital video in AVI format, can record your voice and stores pictures via SD/MMC Cards, and comes with 16MB of internal memory.
The 2.0" LTPS LCD screen is a big screen in your hand, but don't worry, it
will not eat your batteries due to the Low power consumption technology of the
LTPS screen. A USB interface makes downloads easy and with Direct Print it makes
printing your digital dream a easy to see reality.
